Lee Miles

I joined Class People in October 2025 as a Principal Recruitment Consultant, supporting secondary schools across Gloucestershire with their recruitment needs.

Before moving into education recruitment, I worked within hospitality recruitment, so delivering excellent service and building strong relationships has always been at the heart of what I do. I’m particularly passionate about business development and really enjoy getting out and meeting schools, understanding the challenges they’re facing and building partnerships that go beyond simply filling a vacancy.

For me, recruitment is all about relationships. I take the time to understand what schools need from their staff, while also getting to know teachers and support professionals properly so I can help them find opportunities that genuinely suit their experience, goals and personality.

Whether you’re a teacher looking for your next challenge or a school looking to strengthen your team, I’ll be there to support you throughout the process and make recruitment feel as straightforward and personable as possible.

Outside of work, I’ve been lucky enough to live in several places around the world, including New Zealand and Canada, and travelling has always been a big part of my life. My wife Jen and I got engaged in Rome and later married in Croatia, so we’ve managed to tie some pretty special memories to our love of travel.

I’m also a trained chef and, over the years, have had the opportunity to cook for some very well-known faces, which has given me more than a few interesting stories! When I’m not working or travelling, you’ll usually find me playing padel, gaming or following Arsenal.
